At today’s Manila leg of the Dell Solutions Tour 2015, the company showed off the latest Dell XPS 13 laptop which features a 13-inch screen within a body meant for an 11-inch laptop. This innovative design gives it the recognition as the smallest 13-inch laptop in the world.
The company is able to achieve this by using a virtually borderless Infinity display, a first in the industry. The 13.3-inch Infinity display features a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as optional touchscreen capabilities.
The XPS 13 also features a 5th generation Intel Core i7-5500U processor with a clock speed of up to 3GHz coupled with Intel’s HD Graphics 5500, 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L-RS on-board RAM, a 256GB solid-state drive, a 52WHr 4-cell integrated battery, and Windows 8.1.
The world’s smallest 13-inch laptop is available at Dell Concept Stores for Php74,990 and comes with 1 year of ProSupport which comes with 24×7 phone support and NBD Onsite Service.
